Jade Zammit (b. 1990) is a Maltese visual artist with a degree in Architecture from the University of Malta. Her interest in the study of spaces and form is often explored through photography, however her primary focus is drawing and painting. Rather than pursuing grand and monumental events, her work serves as a window unto simple and intimate events. Most of her work is carried out through observation during private live drawing sessions, in a space allowing for shared and mutual vulnerability between artist and subject. The economized lines, characteristic of her earlier work, are an embodiment of simplicity and tenderness seeking to glorify the natural form in its raw and purest state, inviting the viewer to relate, to feel. Her work has recently shifted, her compositions now evolving into heavier compositions of colour and texture.

In October 2021, she was awarded a Professional Development Grant by the Arts Council Malta, partially funding her first artistic residency at R.A.R.O. Barcelona in Spain. The body of work developed was part of a process curated by SPRING v2.3, a program hosted by the Gabriel Caruana Foundation in support of early career artists. She has since 2020 participated in various collective exhibitions which have given her a platform to showcase her work as an up-and-coming artist.
